Infant's Curriculum

3 months – 18 months

Our infant class is designed to create a warm and secure environment for infants. Our infant's room has a play area with toys and books. Teachers spend lots of time cuddling, singing, reading stories, and talking to babies to instill trust and provide a healthy learning environment.

Literacy

Developing language and communication skills through books and play with photo cards and learning about the world around them.

Arts

We provide crayons, paint, and other tools to promote creativity and artistic exploration. Encourage self-expression through movement and music.

Healthy Habits

Support in physical development through movement and motor skills to ensure that every baby has room to roll, pull up, and stand in a safe and inviting space.

Body, Mind & Spirit

Building social and emotional skills as infants learn about themselves and others and promote core values. Respond to your baby with sensitivity and attention.

A Day in Our Infant Program

  • Daily Cares: Staff builds positive one-on-one interaction with your infant.

Toddler's Curriculum

18 months – 3 years

Our teachers provide support in a fun environment by planning activities to encourage toddler's eager investigation of the world. To provide toddlers with consistency and routine learning, teachers plan days with programs such as music, movement, quiet activities, and outdoor program.

Literacy

Use storytelling and games to help your child imitating and responding to build vocabulary, language, and communication skills.

Mathematics

Identify basic counting, shapes, and colors.

Arts

Introducing dance, visual art, and music.

Technology

Awareness of tools.

Social, Moral & Spiritual Development

Interactions with other children and group activities to help build a solid foundation for future growth.

Science

Beginning awareness of the world around us.

Healthy Habits

Kindergarten Curriculum

4 – 5 years

Children are presented with ample academic challenges where teachers take care to balance their lesson plans with lots of fun, developmentally appropriate activities and time for reading and thinking.

Literacy

Reading and writing skills such as letter practice and books.

Mathematics

Simple addition and subtraction, sorting and classifying objects.

Science

Continue to learn and understand physical, life, and environmental science.

Homework Support

Your school-age child will be provided with homework assistance by our caring and educated teachers.

Arts

Children discover arts and athletics.

Use of computers for fun teaching.

Health Habits

Understanding of healthy eating, physical and personal safety.

A Day in Kindergarten

  • Arrival: Teachers create an environment for smooth/calm transition from home.
  • Large Group: Children explore areas of daily life, weather, letters, numbers, and colors.
  • Small Group: Expands on concepts shared in the large group and works to serve more individual needs.
  • Choices: Children make their own choices at multiple learning areas set up by teachers.
  • Transitions: Children learn social skills, daily routines such as hand washing before meals, stories before nap, etc.
  • Send-off: Staff assists children with smooth transition to responsible person.

Primary School

Class 1 – Class 6

Our Primary School program provides a well-rounded education from Class 1 through Class 6, helping students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

Young Engineers STEM Program

Ages 6 – 15 · After School

Candlelight Childcare partners with Young Engineers to offer a fun, hands‑on after‑school STEM program for children ages 6–15. Students explore science, technology, engineering, math, robotics, and coding through weekly one‑hour sessions.

Each class introduces a real engineering or physics concept, followed by building a moving model using familiar construction bricks. The program is recognized by the Harvard School of Education and the European Union for its strong 21st‑century learning approach.

Program Levels

  • Bricks Challenge (Ages 6–10): Intro to physics and engineering through creative building.
  • Galileo Technic (Ages 9–12): Advanced mechanical engineering and problem‑solving.
  • Robotics (Ages 11–15): Robotics, programming, and software engineering.

What Children Gain

Students build skills in critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, communication, digital literacy, and problem‑solving — all while having fun.

Weekend classes provide additional learning opportunities in a fun, engaging environment, helping children stay on track with their development and explore new skills.

Summer Classes

School Holidays

We offer summer classes when school is out. Our summer program is filled with a lot of fun and exciting exploration. There are also hands-on activities, field trips, and themed events.

We accept students who are not enrolled in the school on a regular school calendar year as well as international students interested in a temporary education during the summer holidays.
